Alert notifications are only sent out when a leak or freeze is detected, batteries need to be replaced, or the unit has not checked in with the SimpleSENCE servers for a period of time. If you are not receiving alerts try the following:
- Verify contact information has been input correctly.
- Check the sensor WiFi strength.
- Reconnect the sensor to your WiFi network.
To verify that your sensor and alerts are functioning properly, simply place your finger across the two metal conductors on the sensor for approximately 10-15 seconds. The audible alarm will sound and the notifications per your contact settings will be sent.
