My sensor is not beeping when I touch the metal contacts

If your SimpleSENCE sensor does not beep when touching the metal contacts try the following:

(Before beginning, please make sure the battery tab is fully removed and has not ripped inside.)

• For best results, place your finger on the metal contact on the bottom of the sensor rather than the sides.
• If you do not hear a beep after 10 seconds, try placing two fingers across the strips or try wetting your finger with water and try again.
